We admired the steam locomotive, and one overly eager zvarg even wanted to climb inside the firebox. The opening wasn't very wide, and I talked him out of such a reckless step. As Lenin used to say, "Not everyone can shove it into a narrow hole". Inside the hangar with the red-starred one, everything creaks and rustles with every step. Luckily, there are no guards there. When I was reading the infiltration guide, I learned that the security sits somewhere near the entrance, in the south, and we entered from the north, as one should. Further south there are two (or three?) more hangars, but we had no time left to risk it, and fatigue was building up.
It was getting close to midnight, and the last train to the center was ten minutes before it. We quietly made our way back to the first train, and from there to the rattling fence. Oddly enough, even at night it was easy to find the exact spot where we had climbed in. That, however, didn't help yours truly. I climb about as well as a sack of potatoes. While conquering the wall, jumping on a car tire propped on bricks, I tore my favorite dark green 60-euro Swedish jeans. It's a bummer, but nothing in this world lasts forever. Quid quisque vitet, nunquam homini satis cautum est in horas.
Unfortunately, I forgot to buy train tickets in advance, and
The next day we were planning to go to the national museum, and then to the neighborhood where the castle is, and play it by ear from there. I also wanted to visit the Chinese teahouses, as is my custom, to buy some stuff. To my chagrin, I found out that the teahouses, even though they exist in the city, are all closed on Sundays. That's why planning is so important - if you have it, you're most likely to get more good experiences than if you don't. Alas, I am a chaotic good character, and planning is not my strong suit. By the way, I think I'm gradually shifting from chaotic good to True Neutral. I read recently that conservatism doesn't increase with age for everyone, as the common stereotype suggests, but only for some. I hope I'm not one of them.
